Playing with this xylophone will help young children develop their hand-eye co-ordination. Playing alongside music will help evolve understanding of rythum.

Playing games with younger children can also help them learn colours and sequencing skills. eg. ask them to pound a particular colour, one at a time at first until they know them all then progress to colour sequences. eg. "I would like you to play the red then the green notes."
